Description

The PACU Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for the patient in the post anesthesia recovery area. The PACU Registered Nurse demonstrates competence in the planning of care for the patient going through the recovery phases of anesthesia. The RN participates in patient and family teaching, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the Post Anesthesia Recovery area.

Qualifications

Licensure/certification/registration: CPR Certification / Current RN licensure in the State of Texas
