PREFERRED SKILLS: Advanced practice nurse with background in OB, pediatrics, and/or family medicine preferred. Requires home visits to postpartum, newborn and NICU patients as well as hospital rounds and discharges in mother-baby departments at ESJH and EGSH.

JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of preliminary and supportive medical (diagnostic, evaluative and therapeutic) and behavioral health procedures within delegated guidelines and following established practices and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Two or more years of experience doing Mental Health work. A diverse background in different mental health settings is a must.

AND

Completion of an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners (or equivalent advanced nursing program), and currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Colorado. Must have prescptive authority

OR

Completion of an accredited program for Physician Assistants or Associates, certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and currently licensed in the state of Colorado. Must have prescptive authority.

OR

Completion of an accredited advanced practice nursing program, and currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado. Masters degree in Nursing required. Certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist with prescptive authority.

National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Taxonomy code required at time of hire.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to defined technical requirements, accountable for consistently demonstrating service behaviors and principles defined by the Kaiser Permanente Service Quality Credo, the KP Mission as well as specific departmental/organizational initiatives. Also accountable for consistently demonstrating the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to purchasers, contracted providers and vendors

STARTING SALARY RANGE: $38.19 - $43.61 (Hourly)
