Director of Orthopaedics, Neurology and Pediatrics
Description:
Manages expenses to stay within budgetary guidelines.
Communicates effectively with staff, peers, Department Director, external and internal customers.
Utilizes quality improvement as basis to improve unit/departmental process.
Pursues own professional growth and development.
Maintains unit readiness for regulatory surveys.
Assumes accountability for decisions and actions.
Provides opportunities for employee development.
Initiates and documents patient teaching including family and/o significant others. Uses appropriate Patient Education documentation modality.
Develops staffing schedule and maintains accurate record of changes.
Requirements:
BSN, Master's preferred with a minimum of 3-5 years director level experience in specialty. VA nursing license, ACLS, BLS, PALS.
