Inpatient Setting
Responsibilities:
Administrative responsibilities include planning, organizing, leading, controlling and coordinating the overall work of the OB unit on a 24 hour basis.
Supervises nursing care of all patients assigned to a designated clinical area.

Requirements for this job:
Licensed in practicing state
Graduate from an accredited nursing school
BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP Certifications required
Minimum 2-5 years management experience and/or Clinical Nurse Specialist background
Three years progressive leadership and demonstrated management experience required
Prefer strong nurse leader with minimum 5 years Labor and Delivery/Newborn clinical experience in a busy OB service area
