Nursing Manager - Labor and Delivery and NICU
Located in Pennsylvania - 90 minutes from Buffalo
Inpatient Setting

Responsibilities:
Manages, supervises, and coordinates the daily operations of a specific patient care department.
Responsible for development and coordination of department based education and quality assessment activities.
Demonstrates working knowledge of budget, census, acuity, associate experience and skill mix to coordinate department staffing.
Acts as a liaison between staff, physicians, health center departments, consumers, and external agencies.
Monitors unit activities and the work assignments of staff members.
Participates in hiring, selection and retention of employees.
Facilitates orientation of new staff and assures training and educational needs of staff are being met.
Develops, implements, and evaluates unit goals, objectives, policies, and standards of care.

Requirements for this job:
BSN or working toward degree with degree completion negotiation. Master's preferred
Three to five years of recent nursing experience
Previous management experience preferred
Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills necessary
Current ACLS Certification
