Care Associate

Provides a broad range of support services to ensure efficient operation of the unit.  May assist professional staff in direct patient care, admit/register/schedule patient visits, obtain authorizations, triage patient/family inquiries, prepare billing data, maintain patient information, prepare required reports, or provide other support as requested by supervisor.  Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a hospital and/or medical office is required.  Bilingual English/Spanish speaking is required.  Experience with computer operations is helpful.  Minimum typing/keyboarding skills of 45 WPM with accuracy is required.  Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
