Pediatric RN Float Pool staff are trained to fill shift-by-shift staffing requirements for inpatient hospital units. Initial orientation focuses on three Medical/Surgical Units, with additional training and orientation to the PICU, NICU and Oncology Unit . Orientation is extensive with both didactic education and clinical precepted shifts enabling the new RN to feel confident in caring for patients. This is a night shift position with one weekend required per month. We offer flexible self-scheduling. This is a benefits eligible position; float pool staff are not in a "first cancel" category.
This position is accountable for the provision of safe, efficient and therapeutically effective care on the patient unit to which assigned. Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards.

Requires current Utah RN licensure, a minimum of one year RN experience and BLS.
