Serving more than 300,000 patients yearly, the system's Downtown Dallas flagship hospital, Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) is a major patient care, teaching and research facility and has been ranked by U.S. News and World Reports - America's Best Hospitals 14 years consecutively. Additionally, it is the only hospital in the DFW Metroplex to have both the Cyber Knife and Gamma Knife. BUMC is a 1029-bed hospital, Level 1 trauma center, and home to more than 20 specialty centers. Services include: nuclear medicine; ultrasound; emergency; diagnostic, invasive and vascular radiology; fluoroscopy; MRI; pharmacy and pathology. BUMC features an outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Center, as well as the Baylor Sammons Breast Imaging Center, which has mobile screening units that target businesses and schools within a 75-mile radius of the downtown campus.
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating and coordinating patient care. Accountable that patient care meets standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights and guest relations. Supervises care delivered by patient care team; coordinates plan of care; provides education for patients and staff; collaborates with other disciplines; provides direct patient care for specific patient age groups.

Job Requirements:
Associates Degree or equivalent required.
Bachelors degree preferred.
A minimum of 2 years critical care nursing experience is required.
CPR/BLS is required.
