Job Description
Possesses basic knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, risk factor and behavior modification strategies, counseling techniques and uses of educational programs as pertinent to cardiovascular rehabilitation services.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Graduate of approved and accredited nursing program; minimum of two-year Associate's Degree in Nursing. Minimum Experience: 2 years Critical Care or Telemetry Required Licensure: Registered Nurse, Texas license Skills: ECG Interpretation skills, Cardiac medication, Cardiac and Diabetic Patient Education, Adult Education Principles and Exercise principles. Successful completion of BLS and ACLS courses.
