Atlanta Medical Center, formerly Georgia Baptist Medical Center, is a 467-bed acute care facility sprawled across two city blocks near the heart of downtown Atlanta. Accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, Atlanta Medical Center has an esteemed tradition of commitment to excellence in patient care and service to the community. The medical center provides general medical, surgical and women's and children's services, as well as specialized programs in cardiology, oncology, perinatology, neonatology, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, psychiatry, neurosurgery, same day surgery and trauma.
