Summary:
Functions as an assistant to the Registered Nurse. Under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse, a Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing services to ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients. Job Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Satisfactory completion of Nursing Assistant Training course or in lieu of NA course, one year acute care experience or recent completion of one year formal RN program. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and manage/prioritized/complete work assignments and other duties as assigned. Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Current Healthcare Provider BCLS card required.
