Cardiothoracic Surgical ICU Nurse Practitioner

Large Hospital in the Philadelphia, PA area is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for their Cardiothoracic Surgical Intensive Care Unit. This is a new position due to a Cardiothoracic ICU expansion. Shift consists of 4 days a week with FLEX DAYS/NIGHTS.

The Nurse Practitioner:
•Educates patients and/or intervenes in acute or chronic illness.
•Practices within the guidelines of the unit department and institution and in accordance with the Nurse Practitioner-Physician Written Agreement required and approved by the state of Pennsylvania.

Qualifications:
•Requires Master’s degree from an accredited school of nursing.
•Advanced clinical skills in specialty area of Cardiothoracic Surgical Intensive Care; pre and post op care of the patient taking them to discharge.
•Must have 3+ years experience in CT ICU
