The RN, under the direction of the department director, performs a variety of direct patient care, works collaboratively with the health care team, is customer focused, and strives to meet unit and hospital goals. Provides quality nursing care according to established practice standards and guidelines for the areas assigned.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: Licensed in the State of Georgia as an RN
Desired: Previous hospital experience preferred in area specialty
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Licensed in the State of Georgia as an RN. Advanced certification field of specialty/expertise encouraged. BLS certification required, ACLS certification required within 6 months for charge nurse position.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Demonstrates theoretical and clinical expertise and the application of knowledge thereof, in the assigned specialty. Participation in professional organizations encouraged. Good interpersonal communication skills and customer service skills. Must become familiar with hospital computer system.
