Responsibilities:
SUMMARY:Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with facility and departmental policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his/her direction. The Registered Nurse utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of patients on his or her assigned unit. BHS Service Standards and support of healing environment are exhibited in all aspects of the Registered Nurse's performance.
Qualifications:
Requires current RN license in the state you will be practicing or Compact or Temp License. Must have all required certifications for the specialty areas you will work (BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NRP, ENPC or PALS) A minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting is required. Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as an RN in the clinical area you will be working.Must have required certifications for the specialty areas that you will be working.
